Bushout system

Hanley Smith Ltd. offers the patented Bushout system for damage-free removal of interference fit metal bushings, sleeves, and liners. The infinitely variable diameter of collet means exact fitment to 99 percent of interference fit bushes, sleeve bearings, and liners from 1 3/4 inches (45 mm) to 7 inches (180 mm). A hydraulic force of up to 2.75 tons extracts bushes, damage free in short operation times with practically zero risk of scoring the housing. Full kits available for easy economic repairs in the hangar, on the pan, or in the workshop by one level four fitter. Reduces maintenance costs and AOGs.
