Three-Blade Prop for Piper Malibu Mirage

Hartzell Propeller Inc. obtains STC for a Top Prop™ three-blade propeller conversion kit approved for all Malibu Mirage aircraft manufactured prior to 1998. Installation of the three-blade, 80-in. diameter composite propeller reduces takeoff ground roll by up to 25 percent. Also, aircraft using the new kit can clear a 50-ft obstacle in 11 percent less takeoff distance. Cruise speed remains unchanged with new prop. Blades offer Kevlar™ -epoxy construction with advanced airfoils.
