Electrothermal Prop De-Icer Kit

Tha new Quick Disconnect System (QDS) Electrothermal Prop De-Icer Kit from BFGoodrich Aerospace allows easy installation and field replacement of prop de-icers on de-icer equipped propeller-driven aircraft. Prop de-icers and wire harnesses can be replaced simply by disconnecting the connector plug and replacing the tie straps ‹ all without removing the bracket. The improved bracket design simplifies prop balancing, while interchangeability with existing systems allows replacement on a per-blade basis. This kit has been STC and PMA approved and includes electrothermal prop de-icer, wire harness, mounting bracket and tie straps.
