Hawkeye Pro Precision borescopes

Aircraft maintenance professionals now expect more accuracy in their visual inspection of cylinders, valves, and other engine components. And the line of Hawkeye Pro Precision Borescopes from Gradient Lens Corp. (GLC) is designed to meet these expectations. Without requiring costly and time-consuming engine teardown, the borescopes provide highly detailed, vivid images of valves, valve seats, cylinder walls, and piston crowns. The improved images of the new professional-grade line are a result of several advances in the company's borescope technology. The latest generation of GLC's patented endoGRINs relay lens system, endoGRINs e2, offers sharper, more detailed images. A multicoated objective lens also provides higher image contrast and more vivid, accurate color. A new light "concentrator" gives brighter, whiter, and more even light. An independent focusing ring makes video and digital photography of images much easier. A higher-intensity, SuperNOVA rechargeable light source allows for brighter, clearer images. The new Hawkeye Pro line includes models in a range of diameters to accommodate even very narrow openings: Hawkeye Pro Hardy .250 inch, Hawkeye Pro Slim .165 inch, Hawkeye Pro SuperSlim .095 inch, and Hawkeye Pro MicroSlim .073 inch. Lengths range from 3 to 17 inches. All of the new borescopes offer either a 0- or 90-degree direction-of-view with the use of a mirror adaptor.
