Lincoln Electric announced its technical guide to aluminum welding, "SuperGlaze™ Aluminum MIG Welding Guide." The free guide describes the effects of alloying elements on aluminum, how physical properties effect welding, and the recommended procedures for welding aluminum. Because of the differences of between welding steel and welding aluminum, the guide also covers some basic metallurgy concepts on alloying elements and temper designations.
