Portable Monitoring System

Industrial Scientific's VX500 PID (photo ionization detector) is designed for portable monitoring of volatile organic compounds (VOCs), such as petroleum or solvent vapors. It is ideal for confined space entry testing, leak assessment, and hazardous materials response monitoring. It can detect potentially hazardous compounds, such as toluene, xylene and vinyl chloride at levels as low as 100 parts per billion.
