Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter
Daniel Woodhead Co. unveils the Safe-TChek™ ‹ a portable, in-line 30 Amp ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI). Features of the Safe-T-Chek In-Line 30 Amp GFCI include a manual reset to prevent unmonitored equipment startup after a power failure or ground fault condition; recessed test and reset buttons to protect against accidental actuation; and a clamp-style cord grip that securely attaches to the cord, offering pull-out protection and strain and flex relief. Available in 120-volt and 240-volt models, the Safe-T-Chek complies with 1999 NEC standards, which makes a 30A GFCI mandatory for all 125-volt, single phase 30A receptacle outlets that are not part of the permanent wiring of a building or other work location. UV stabilized polycarbonate construction resists impact, abuse, sunlight, oils, and chemicals. U.L. listed, rainproof rated, and CSA certified, this GFCI is designed for rugged outdoor and harsh environment applications.
