UV laser

LASELEC, which designs and manufactures laser UV machines for marking cables, opened its U.S. subsidiary in Texas in July 2004. Labelling electrical cables using UV laser ensures indelible marking (unlike inkjet marks that can be erased) and is not aggressive with regard to the insulation (unlike hot stamping). UV laser marking ensures cable traceability in case of unexpected electrical problem and also provides users with indelible, non-aggressive marking which respects the requirements involved in running and cutting cables.
