Indestructible Prop Lock

Sporty's Pilot Shop offers the Indestructible Prop Lock, an adjustable prop lock that will deter would-be theives from stealing an aircraft. The lock is a nylon-covered chain that wraps around the propellar at the spinner. The links are impervious to hacksaw blades and bolt cutters which average a hardness of 55C to 60C. It is fully adjustable and flexible and will fit single-engine and light twin-engine propellers. The Indestructible Prop Lock comes with two personal keys that are numbered and registered with the manufacturer. The lock is 6 feet long and weighs 12 pounds.
